Paul Davies


Paul was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986 since which time he has handled family and employment work. Paul has represented both employers and employees in his work whether within or outside of Employment Tribunals.

Paul is currently a member of the National Law Society Council representing Solicitors’ interests throughout the County as a past President of Hertfordshire Local Law Society. Paul is passionate about education and has served as a School Governor both at Primary School and Secondary School level. He also sits on a Committee at the University of Hertfordshire.

Paul’s aim is to guide clients through what can be a complex and sometimes traumatic time, as smoothly and speedily as possible, putting the interest of the client first.

Ruksana Kaskar


Ruksana is an experienced lawyer who qualified as chartered legal executive in 2002. She specialises in estate administration, inheritance tax & estate planning, Wills and Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. Ruksana has extensive experience in this field which requires dealing with matters sensitively. Ruksana also has some experience in preparing Sharia Compliant Wills.

Ruksana speaks fluent Urdu and Hindi and can also speak some Punjabi and Gujarati.

Elisabeth Pearson


Elisabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1974. She is a Consultant Solicitor and brings her long, valuable and extensive experience to the firm. She specialises in residential and commercial Conveyancing, any land related issues, Probate and Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney, Wills & Trusts. She ran her own practice before joining the Firm and previously ran a Legal Department’s commercial Leases' section. Elisabeth has obtained a reputation for her valuable and friendly service.

Elisabeth is assisted by Jo Monroe.

Janice Brett

Licensed Conveyancer

Janice qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2002. She has experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity in respect of both leasehold and freehold properties. She prides herself in attention to detail, daily turnaround, care, control and support for her clients, many of whom are loyal and long standing clients.

Janice is assisted by Sarah Cornell.

Jenny Lloyd


Jenny studied law at the University of Westminster and qualified as a Solicitor in 1997. After bringing up a young family Jenny returned to law in 2011 and now specializes in Wills, Probate and affairs of the elderly, including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications.

Jenny is assisted by Debbie Parker.

Charles Duchenne


Charles qualified in 1974 and handles Civil Litigation including High Court and County Court, Bankruptcy work, company winding up, some immigration work and is a member of the Council of Hertfordshire Law Society. Charles also sits as a District Judge.
